Somewhere along the way, after taking care of everyone else's needs, caring for yourself became one more thing on your very long list, and you let it go. You're not failing. You may just need a different approach to your day.
I’m here to help you find your way back to yourself, and it starts with a few honest, practical shifts, not a total overhaul. Sometimes the most important thing you can HUNT for is a way back to yourself.
You got really good at managing everyone else's needs and never learned how to manage your own. What you need is an actual, sustainable way to build sleep, food, movement, and stress support into a life that's already full, not another diet or meditation app. That's the gap I built my work to close.
Progress looks like daily steps, thoughtful guidance, and science-backed strategies, with a little more intention behind how you plan and live your day. That's what matters, and that's what you're here to HUNT for.
I'm a registered nurse with 24+ years in direct patient care across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings, plus a decade in corporate wellness and twenty years as a diabetes educator. I'm also board-certified in lifestyle medicine and HeartMath trained. I've spent my whole career watching people get handed information and sent home without a real way to use it.
I ran into that same wall myself. My own health fell apart in ways I couldn't get a straight answer for. I was told it was unexplained, that I should feel healthy, and I left appointment after appointment frustrated and disappointed until I started looking for answers on my own. That's what led me to functional medicine and acupuncture, because they actually looked at the why, not just the symptom in front of them. I've been asking why since I was a kid, wanting to get to the root instead of depending on someone else to hand me an answer, and that question is what led me to build The HUNT Method and The Lifestyle Hunt.
In a traditional setting, there's rarely enough time for that, and things become more about checking boxes. Documentation matters, but so does the person in front of you.
The HUNT Method is about learning what your body needs, understanding the habits that influence how you feel, and creating a way of living that supports the person you are right now.
This is where the science of lifestyle medicine turns into an actual system, one built around your day instead of a generic protocol. It gives me space to educate, spot patterns, and support real behavior change around sleep, stress, movement, and food. I'm looking for the small, purposeful changes that make the biggest difference in how you live and feel.
In practice, that means:
A real lifestyle assessment first, not a guess, so the plan is built around what's actually going on with you
A Personalized HUNT Health Blueprint, built around your specific gaps, not a template
Check-ins between sessions, so the plan doesn't just live in a folder somewhere
Every step looks beyond the symptoms to HUNT for the root causes and everyday patterns that may be influencing how you feel, so you can take meaningful action
Working with me feels less like taking a health class and more like a friend who happens to know a lot about the body. I'll celebrate every win with you. I'll also ask the hard questions and go to the heavy stuff when that's actually what's underneath the surface.
Structure matters here, but so does meeting you exactly where you're at, not where a program says you should be.
You don't need to overhaul your life to feel like a person again. You need someone who can see the whole picture, and a plan that actually fits the life you're already living. That's what a discovery call is for, a real conversation about where you're at and whether this is the right fit. No pressure, no script.
